The election of International officers is being conducted by mail ballot by the Election Supervisor for the International Brotherhood of Teamsters (“IBT”). The ballot count will begin after 10:00 a.m. EST on November 15, 2021, at the IBT International Election Count Site in Alexandria, Virginia.

This is the final report of the Election Supervisor.

CERTIFIED FINAL RESULTS
On October 26, 2020 Baker Tilly Ottawa LLP issued an Independent Auditor’s Report on the 2020 Election of Officers of the Teamsters Canada Rail Conference – Maintenance of Way Employees Division (TCRC-MWED). The Auditor’s Report certified the results of the election as follows:

PRESIDENT:

Wade Phillips: 523 votes {Elected as National President}
Jesse Brehl: 186 votes

PRAIRIE REGIONAL DIRECTOR:

Ron Graham Bradley: 166 votes {Elected as Prairie Region Director}
Brennen Kopp: 72 votes

FINAL NOTES
Baker Tilly Ottawa LLP’s report indicated a total of seven hundred and twenty (720) ballots were received in total. Overall, one hundred and two (102) new or duplicate ballot packages were mailed after the initial mailing on September 11, 2020. During the counting procedure, no ballots were deemed to be spoiled related to identifying the voter’s intentions.
